collecting and using personal data on this website (hereafter "website").

The data privacy legal framework is the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data / server log files

The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data every time the website is accessed (so-called server log files). Access data includes:

name of the website visited, file, date and time of visit, transferred data volume, report about successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider only uses protocol data for statistical analysis for the purpose of running, securing and improving the website. However, the provider reserves the right to check the protocol data afterwards if there is justified suspicion of illegal use based on specific clues.

Handling personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. details that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. However, data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were visited by someone are also personal data.

Personal data is only collected, used and forwarded by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to data collection.

Contact

When making contact with the provider (for example using the contact form or by email) the user's information is saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry as well as in case there are any subsequent questions.

Newsletter

With our newsletter we inform you about us and what we offer.

If you would like to receive the newsletter we need a valid email address from you as well as information that allows us to check that you are the owner of the provided email address or its owner agrees to receipt of the newsletter. No other data is collected. This data is only used to send the newsletter and is not passed on to any third parties.

When you register for the newsletter we save your IP address and the date of registration. This is only saved as evidence in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised person.

You can withdraw your consent for the saving of data, email address and its use to send the newsletter at any time. This cancellation can be done using the link in the newsletter itself, in your profile section or by sending a message to the contact options above.

The integration of third party services and content

It may be that third party content is integrated as part of this online website, for example, videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always assumes that the providers of this content (subsequently referred to as "third party providers") use the users' IP addresses. As without an IP address, they could not send the content to the respective user. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We make every effort to only use content whose respective providers merely use the IP address to provide the content. However, we do not have any influence on whether the third party provider saves the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If we are aware of this we shall inform users.

On the one hand they serve to make websites user friendly and therefore benefit users (e.g. saving login details).
