This not only guarantees reduced emissions of harmful substances, but also the absolute freshness of all GOLDSTEIG products. In addition to our social, economic, ecological and quality commitments, we have also set ourselves clear targets for reducing energy consumption and avoiding and minimising negative environmental impacts. We are aware that our activities have a significant impact on the energy balance. It is therefore our duty - out of a shared responsibility towards people and the environment - to reduce energy consumption to a minimum by means of well thought-out and efficient processes and to make an active contribution to climate protection and resource conservation through optimisation within the company.

- A regular comparison of individual consumers by means of continuous measurements and random sample measurements is intended to uncover irregularities.
- The production of high-quality dairy products is continuously analysed for potential energy savings.

- Generating steam and heat in the most environmentally friendly way possible should lead to a continuous reduction in heat-related emissions.
- The management is committed to clearly defining responsibilities for technical plant issues and reserves the right to review production-related data at regular intervals.
GOLDSTEIG Käsereien Bayerwald GmbH has demonstrated the rational use of energy in a certification audit, proving that an energy management system (EMS) has been introduced and successfully applied in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 50001 standard. The certification applies to all three plants (Cham, Plattling and Tittling).
