All about the Nutri-Score

What is the food traffic light supposed to achieve?

It is primarily intended to offer consumers more transparency when shopping for food and thus prevent diabetes or cardiovascular diseases, for example. At the same time, it is intended to incentivise food manufacturers to make food "healthier", e.g. by reducing sugar or fat. The food traffic light system is a good way of increasing nutritional awareness.
