Egg cartons really catch fire!
Try it with this lighting aid!
Place the egg cartons inside each other and place in the grill. Place charcoal in the top carton and then light the cartons, preferably with a long match. The dry cardboard burns slowly, distributing the heat evenly.

Your barbecue becomes a wood-fired oven!
A tasty alternative to the oven
In addition to a grill, you ideally need a pizza stone to prevent the pizza base from burning. This should be placed on the grill for at least 10 minutes before you place the pizza on it. Alternatively, you can also use heat-resistant ovenware or a shallow iron pan.

Ham meets mozzarella!
Mozzarella topped with smoked ham
Two flavours that get along perfectly: The mild mozzarella flavour and the spicy smoked ham harmonise perfectly.

Your flower pot can grill!
No barbecue? Why not use a flower pot?
Line the inside with aluminium foil - the hole should be cut out to allow air in. Place an ignition aid at the bottom and charcoal at the top until the flowerpot is full. Make sure that air gets in from below (e.g. place the flower pot on a grill), light from below and wait until the charcoal has glowed through. Now it is best to grill with skewers.

Grill your dessert!
Fruit is becoming increasingly popular for barbecues.
Simply place a banana including the peel on the grill, which should not be too hot. When the skin has turned black, the banana is ready. Cut it open with a knife and, depending on your preference, pour chocolate sauce over the banana or refine it with ice cream, for example.
