Cinnamon buns
It's getting colder and you need something for the soul, right? Everything is crying out for cinnamon buns! The @tek.s.kitchen has the perfect recipe for you:
Ingredients
250 ml milk
1/2 fresh yeast or 1 packet of dry yeast
60 g sugar
450 g flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 egg
70 g GOLDSTEIG butter
for topping
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons GOLDSTEIG butter
possibly chopped and roasted hazelnuts
Frosting
1 packet of cream cheese
2 tbsp soft GOLDSTEIG butter
3 tbsp icing sugar
Preparation
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients except for the GOLDSTEIG butter and knead. As soon as the dough is well kneaded, add the butter and knead for 10 minutes in a food processor. Then leave to rise for 45 minutes and roll out the dough to a width of 60 cm. Spread with GOLDSTEIG butter, sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and hazelnuts, cut into 5 cm wide strips, roll up and place in a baking dish. Leave to rise for another 20 minutes and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approx. 20-25 minutes. Leave to cool and brush with the glaze.
